Still, even the best-planned trips can be affected by illness, medical emergencies, severe weather, or other unexpected events. Travel insurance helps protect your trip investment if you have to cancel or interrupt your plans because of a covered event.

Important Update: New Travel Insurance Provider

Access Realty has partnered with Rental Guardian for all new reservations booked on or after November 1 , 2025.

Guests now have three options when booking their stay:

  • Standard Travel Protection – Covers trip cancellation, interruption, delays, baggage issues, and other covered events. 
  • Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) Protection – Adds flexibility to cancel your trip for reasons not covered under the standard plan. 
  • Opt Out – You may decline coverage if you prefer.

For Guests With Existing Reservations

If you purchased travel insurance prior to November 1, 2025, your coverage remains valid through Generali Global Assistance. Please refer to your Generali policy documents for details, coverage terms, or to file a claim.

What Travel Insurance Can Help With

  • Trip Cancellation or Interruption: Reimbursement for non-refundable trip costs if your trip is canceled or cut short due to a covered event. 
  • Travel Delay: Coverage for meals, lodging, and transportation if a covered delay lasts 12+ hours. 
  • Baggage Delay: Reimbursement for clothing and toiletries if your baggage is delayed 24+ hours. 
  • Medical Evacuation: Coverage for emergency medical transportation when physician-ordered and approved by the provider. 
  • Pre-Existing Conditions: Coverage may be available if you purchase within the eligible timeframe after booking. 
  • 24/7 Travel Assistance: Access to emergency support and concierge services during your trip.
